The first 3 corporate self defense workshops sessions kicked off in October 2019 and the remainder will be completed in January 2020. During the 4-hour sessions the teams learned how important it is to prevent becoming the victim in the first place and that physically defending yourself only really becomes necessary when a number of things went wrong. The team learned how criminal predators select their “prey” as well as the aspects they always try to control to succeed with an attack.
A 3-step formula known as the AAA-Principle was taught where the participants learned how to become a harder target and to make life really difficult for criminal predators. However, not all physical conflict can be avoided and the teams learned how to execute “equalizer” strikes which enable even the smallest of persons to injure an attacker as opposed to only hurting the attacker. They also learned how to escape from a variety of chokes and holds, when and when not to physically resist, how to act during a vehicle hi-jacking situation and also how to prevent being abducted/kidnapped.
